Week 4 Sketches - Melanie Okamura
I did the #AmongUsSona trend going around on Twitter. It's one of my favorite games right now, so I was excited to do this challenge!! Also, I finally got my pen pressure working & downloaded some new brushes, so I've very happy.
Week 4 Sketches: Jonathan Rickard
Another week has gone by, and though the bulk of the work I am doing is still cleaning up and perfecting the line art drawing for the assignment, I still managed to get these in. Thankfully the resubmission doesn't exactly have a strict deadline and is only due before I begin working on shading!
With that said, I got some more progress made on this thing from last week!
This is something I worked on as well, which I am still deciding on what I am ultimately going to do with it in terms of artistic direction. I am thinking of making it look like a level out of a video game or some kind of pixel art deal. Not too versed on pixel art apart from a project I did a few years ago, but I wouldn't mind giving another shot.
This is what I had before the thing above. I was going for clouds and then I thought it would cool as a giant tree, but then I got the idea to make into a landscape because it does not have a horizon line yet. I might add one or not in the final thing, depends on how I would design it.
This thing below is what I started with (the Taproots logo was also done before this so it also does not really count). I used it in my resume once and since I have rebranded myself I need to find a new use for it. Thankfully, it looks like I have!
Week 4 Sketches - Brandon Canela
Drew some little Fsjal characters of my friends and knitted a mini pillow with Ned (Character from Twenty One Pilots) for my girlfriend.
