Another week in paradise, more sketches done! This week has been thoroughly bizarre but also set a boundary for me to work with.

Earlier in the week I did a quicker, cruder swamp-themed study of a moonshine still, and I hope to add elements from this and a few other sources to the Taproots thing I posted a while back to give it some extra character, even though it's not moonshine that they distill in that particular swamp...

The second thing is more of a mess. Me and my friends have a school club/discord community for Smash Brothers players and tournament hosting in our local region. It's heavily inspired and based on the Animal Crossing game world, so to continue that theme I volunteered to make something for it. It started off a no-rush project but then once we got word and plans for hosting monthly tournaments at the college, the direction shifted and now I may have to get it done sooner than I had hoped!

A solid week of work, but now I have a list of projects to complete or get near completion by the end of the semester and a good direction for sketchbook work. This list is the poster design above, the Taproots swamp from earlier, the chubby guy with the lantern painting, another clockwork house environment that I began earlier on, and a special project from my past that I aim to try out for my final submission. 

All in all, my work is cut out for me until year's end, so expect to see developments of these things unless something derails it all!
